Sherri Ann Flora, 57, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late George Kerr and Margie Chalmers, who survives, of Fort Wayne. Sherri worked as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant for Dr. Cheryl Lampe, D.D.S., and most recently as a worship leader. She is a faithful member of Elevate City Church where she served in many capacities including the small groups director. Formerly she was a worship leader of the Family Worship Center of Kokomo, IN and Eagle Rock Church of Columbus, OH. Sherri had a caring heart for all people and often counseled and mentored others through difficult times. She was the founder of the Elizabeth Program for battered women of Kokomo, IN. Sherri loved music producing and writing two albums with her worship band. Most of all she loved being a wife, mom, grammy, and was a faithful follower of Jesus. She is survived by her husband, Kent Flora of Fort Wayne; sons, Austin (Tia) Mills and Kyle (Bethany) Mills both of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren, Ayden, Krystin, Casey, Adalia, Ashtyn, Asa, Judah, Betty, and Braxton; siblings, Randy (Tina) Kerr and Kathy Cotton both of Kokomo, IN; Godmother to Karissa Morris of Fort Wayne; and many loving nieces and nephews. Sherri was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Hinton. Service is 12:00 pm, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Elevate City Church, 1315 S. Hanna St, with calling two hours prior beginning at 10:00 am. Calling also 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the church. Burial at Prairie Grove Cemetery of Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to Elevate City Church.
