Sheila Michelle Shipp, 40, transitioned home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Delbert and Martha Shipp of Fort Wayne. Sheila loved children and was a gifted teacher. She taught at La Petitie Academy and Kingdom First Children's Church where she was a member. She was also a member of the Black Student Union of Grand Valley State University. Sheila is also survived by her sisters, Lisa (Jason) Snider of Fort Wayne and Dara (Marlon) Spearman-Wardlow of Fort Wayne; brothers, Delbert Shipp Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI, David Spearman of Fort Wayne; and special brother, David (Jessica) Wiggins of Fort Wayne; special uncle and aunt, David and Donna Spearman of Fort Wayne; special friend, Marjorie Brown of Fort Wayne; nephew, Ezra; three special nephews, Deacon, Dillon, and Walker; and a host of extended family.
