Sharron Ann Jones, 86, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on February 1, 1939, to the late Victor and Lois Slain.

Sharron is survived by her son, Lon (Melody) Jones; eight grandchildren, Beth (Matt) Janney, Corey (Jamie) Baker, Austin (Kelsey) Erler, Alyssa (Jeff) Reed, Caleb (Sarah) Baker, Morgan (Travis) Brooks, Markiah (Shania) Love, and Chris (Rose Cross) Jones; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jones; and four siblings, Donald Slain, Patricia Slain, Joyce Erler, and Mary Anderson.

A funeral service will take place at 1pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street) with visitation from 11 am until the service at 1pm. A burial will take place following the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lutheran Life Villages at Pine Valley.
