In Loving Memory of Sharon Weimer

With deep sorrow and enduring love, the family of Sharon Weimer announces her passing. A beloved wife, mother, "Monner", sister, and friend, Sharon brought warmth, joy, and a steadfast spirit of generosity to every life she touched.

She is survived by her devoted husband of almost 46 years, Terry Weimer; her daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Bo Holden; and three treasured grandchildren, Liam, June, and Luca. Sharon was the cherished eldest daughter of Joyce Wyss and the late Don Wyss, and a beloved sister to, John Wyss, Tim (Karen) Wyss, Theresa Berdelman, Julie (Daniel) Taylor, and Mary (James) Schmucker (and too many beloved nieces and nephews to name).

Sharon believed every child deserved a joyful and nurturing start in life. She brought that vision to life by teaching preschool in her home for many years, later earning her teaching certificate to continue her calling. She went on to teach at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church and served as a teacher's aide and Sunday school teacher at St. Vincent's, touching countless young lives with her kindness and dedication.

She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Emily, whose passing in 2016 left a space that could never be filled. Sharon's love for Emily endured every day, expressed through remembrance, grace, and the quiet strength with which she carried her loss. That bond—unseen but unbreakable—remained one of the guiding lights in her life.

To know Sharon was to feel profoundly loved. Her love language was gift-giving—each token chosen with care, always arriving just when it was needed most. Birthdays never passed uncelebrated in her orbit. But Sharon's gifts went beyond the tangible: she gave her compassion, her faith, her time, and above all, her belief in others. She looked at the world through the eyes of Jesus, lifting the spirits of those who felt unseen or forgotten, and revealing the goodness in others even when it was hidden to everyone else.

A guiding light in the lives of many, Sharon was the embodiment of strength, grace, and wisdom. As Proverbs 31:25–26 reminds us: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue."

Sharon's legacy is one of quiet grace, fierce kindness, and a heart wide open to those in need. Her presence will be missed beyond measure, but the imprint she left on her loved ones' lives will remain forever.
