Sebastian Otis, 28, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, passed from this earthly life on October 14, 2023.

Sebastian was the first son of April McAtee and Aaron McAtee. He is survived by his mother and father and his younger siblings: Deacon Macatee, Ariden McAtee and Tia Belvin. He was the beloved nephew of Tonia Pankop, Tisha Pankop, Shane Otis and Jennifer McAtee. He also leaves many family members who love him and will miss him dearly.

Sebastian went to Memorial Park Middle School and was named a music prodigy where he started playing his bass and many other instruments. His music teachers were truly inspiring. He went to Rock Camp and continued to play music at school and in other venues. Graduating from Southside High School, Sebastian went on to work at Sweetwater Sound. He attended Ivy Tech for auto repair and later worked at Belle Tire.

Sebastian was a truly beautiful soul who expressed himself through playing music and making his friends and family laugh. People were naturally drawn to him: his personality, humor and kindness were magnetic.

His heart was that of a lion. He loved with ferocity and loyalty. His spirit was like a sunbeam – he was our golden boy – bringing warmth and light to all that he touched.

The funeral and viewing will be held at the Fairhaven Funeral home, 6557 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN.

Viewing: Saturday, October 28 (2:00 - 4:00 pm) and (6:00 - 8:00 pm)
Funeral Service is Sunday, October 29, at 4:00 pm with visitation 1 hour prior.

There will be a celebration of life dinner served at the Quimby Hall, 1502 Bluffton Rd, directly after the funeral.
