Scott A. Whitacre, age 56, passed away December 3, 2018 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Lee Whitacre and Ann Patten. He worked as a trim carpenter for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Whitacre of Fort Wayne; children, Phillip (Stacie) Whitacre, Christina Whitacre, Rebecca Jones, and Zac Stockman; 3 grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Service is 10:30 am, Friday, December 7, 2018 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
