Obituary

Scott Wade Richmond, 73, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Thursday, November 25 2021. Born in Goshen, Indiana, Scott was a son of the late Wade and Marilyn Richmond. He earned his associate degree in engineering from Purdue University. He worked for General Motors as an electrician until his retirement. Scott was a member of Pine Hills Church. Scott was a humble man with an unwavering and steadfast faith and demonstrated his love for Jesus by the way he lived. He loved scuba diving, backpacking, and working in his garden. Scott had a love for music and enjoyed attending and supporting the Carroll Marching Band. Scott earned the rank of Eagle Scout and served as a Boy Scout Leader for over 20 years. Scott loved his family and cherished all the memories made. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Linda Richmond; children, Penny (Craig) Haver, Robin (Louis) Goodrich, Philip (Erin) Richmond; grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Jacob, Lily, Alec, Ella, Parker, Sydney; great-granddaughter, Ivy; siblings, Diane Smith, Wen (Frank) Shirer, David (Jane) Richmond, Jim (Teresa) Richmond, Matthew Richmond, and Donald Richmond. Scott was preceded in death by his siblings, Dennis Richmond and Vicki Ogelsby. Service is 11 am, Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Pine Hills Church with calling from 9 am until the service. Burial in South Union Cemetery, Nappanee, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Pine Hills Church, Boy Scouts of America, or American Cancer Society. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
