Scott Alan Detwiler, 60, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Scott was the son of the late Phillip and Judith (Harris) Detwiler. Scott graduated from Snider High School and attended IPFW. He worked as an insurance adjuster for many years and was an active, devoted member of Emmaus Lutheran Church. Scott was a car enthusiast, enjoyed working in his yard, and most of all, spending time with his family. He had a creative passion and talent for creating beautiful artwork. His kind and giving spirit will be deeply missed. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Karen Detwiler; children, Jonathan Detwiler, Sierra Detwiler; and six nieces and nephews. Service is 11 am Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 8626 Covington Rd, with calling one hour prior. Calling is at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne or Emmaus Lutheran Church.
