Sarah T Petro of Fort Wayne, IN, never knew a stranger and always knew how to make a friend. Beloved wife of Tim Petro and Bonus Mother to Paul Petro, Hannah Petro, Krystin Thomas, and Sam Lentz. "Grandma Sarah" to James, Sam, and Nina Petro. Proud Aunt to Blake, Mickey, Marty, William, Jennifer and Bryan.

Born November 3, 1958 in Evansville, IN to Ruth (Butterfield) and Al Thomas. Proudly the youngest sibling of Bill Thomas, Mary Lentz, and Julie Cohen.

Graduate of the University of Tennessee. Recently retired from a 25 year paralegal career with BarrettMcNagny.

Sarah's "happy place" was the family cottage in Bay View MI. She also loved dinner with friends, scrapbooking and card making, wouldn't miss a retail moment, including the hospital gift shop after a recent radiation treatment.

Her pranks, her laughs, her mischievous smiles and her generous spirit will be missed by many.

"I fell in love with her because of her heart. I know her faith in the Lord was solid and she is okay. But how do I say goodbye to my Best Friend?"
