Sarah Doenges-Resor, 67, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026. She was born to the late William and Elinor (Grote) Doenges on May 9, 1958 in Fort Wayne. She graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School and attended college at Purdue University. Sarah was a member of the Old Fort Mustangers. She loved her cat, Tiger, her ‘04 Mustang, and was an avid fan of Purdue sports and the Colts.

Sarah is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Max Resor; stepchildren; grandchildren; brother, Phil (Faith) Doenges; a niece and a nephew.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Fort Wayne in Sarah’s honor.
