Sandra (Sandy) Lavonne Wells, 79, passed away on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, after suffering a stroke. Born in Hazard, Kentucky, Sandy was the daughter of the late Steve and Vera Jones. She worked in many places in her life: factory worker, nursing home assistant, realtor, bank processor, security guard, and line lead for XPO. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandma to her family. She loved her family and was a second mother to most of her nieces, sons' friends, and grandson's friends. Sandy enjoyed gardening, music, dancing, reading, TV shows, and movies when she wasn't doting on her grandkids. Sandy is survived by her brother, Jerry Jones; sons, Steve Wells and Chad Wells; grandkids, Lucian, Daniel, Kristofer, Kimberly, Ava, Warren, Edelweiss, Fey'd, and Faith, many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brothers Herman, Bert, Clifford, and Gary, sisters, Jan and Thresia.
