Sandra Colleen Moyer, 84, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 29, 2021 in hospice care at Parkview Randallia. Born in Ridgeville, Indiana on January 23, 1937, Sandra was a daughter to the late Clarence and Stella Hotmire. Sandra was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother/great grandmother to her family. After raising her children, Sandra obtained her GED and became a Registered Nurses Aide continuing her life of caring for others for 10 years. She enjoyed cleaning/cooking for her family, crocheting, sewing, spending time with family, and watching NASCAR and Chicago Cubs baseball. Surviving are her children, Sherrie (Gary) Lyman, Linda (Daniel) Stamper, John Moyer Jr., Jill (Jay) Metzger, Karen (Gary) Gordon, Robert (Karena) Moyer; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Joe Hotmire and Bonita Travis. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband John Moyer Sr. who she was married to for 67 years, siblings, Juanita Haines, Max Reitenour, Maxine Ludwick, Nadine Cox, Eileen Garringer; and her great-granddaughter, Reagan Swinford. A Private Memorial Service will take place.
