Sandra "Sandy" Kay Herber, age 79 , was called home on Monday, July 2, 2018 in Fort Wayne. She was born in Archbold, OH to the late Oscar and Ruth Wise. Sandy worked for Magnavox, USSI, and ITT where she retired. She is survived by her children, Kim Maxwell of Noblesville, IN, Sherry Herber, and Kelly Herber-Rooks both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Melinda (Brandon) Duff, Cecilia Maxwell, Jeri (Ryan) Raney, and Reanna Rooks; great-grandchildren, Preston LaPointe, Riley Raney, and Bennett Rooks; her siblings, Sharon (Jim) Roberts of Van Wert, OH, Karen Kashel of Finley, OH, and Kenneth Wise of Van Wert, OH; and her dog, Cocoa. Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Herber; and her parents. Services are 3:00pm, Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
