Ruth Pauline Riel, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Portland, Indiana, Ruth was a daughter of the late Walter and Eva Watts. Ruth was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma to her family. She had a strong and steadfast faith in the Lord and the Holy Spirit poured from her. You could find her reading daily from her Bible and loved being social with everyone. Her outgoing personality allowed her to never meet a stranger. She enjoyed selling Gold Canyon Candles and loved animals. Ruth is survived by her husband William "Bill" Riel; children, Don (Deb) Ingram, Dan (Angie) Ingram, Rebecca Haggard, Rachel (Kim) Sutton, Tammy (Mike) Weller; Deb (Chris) Clark; 25 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; along with 8 great-great-grandchildren. Service is 10:30 am, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling also at the funeral home on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven, Indiana.
