Ruth Marie Krauter, age 85, of Columbia City, IN and formerly of Janesville, WI passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024. She was born in Janesville, WI to the late Norman and Alice Cleveland and a 1958 graduate of Janesville Senior High School. Ruth loved surrounding herself with music, especially playing the organ and piano, and was an avid Brewers fan. She and her late husband, Larry were instrumental in starting a local snowmobile club and also served as campground hosts in Wyalusing State Park, WI, Bagley, WI and in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Ruth is survived by her three sons, Steve (Tammy) Krauter, Jeff (Cindy) Krauter, and Dave (Cassandra) Krauter; 8 grandchildren, Lisa (Adam), Nicole (Andy), Gina (Tyler), Zach (Kelsey), Kari (Casey), Sarah (Kyle), Alyssa, and Kylee; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Campion; brother-in-law, Dave (June) Krauter; three nieces, Kristen, Kim, and Brenda; and beloved dog, Molly.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Larry Krauter, and granddaughter, Amanda Krauter.
