Ruth Hines, 84, passed away January 14, 2018. Born in Albion, IN she was the daughter of Lacy and Florence Mettert.

She was a member of Three Rivers Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed making pies, golfing and garage sales, but most of all she loved the Lord.

Surviving are her husband William Hines of Auburn, IN, three sons; Kenton Hines, William (Marcia) Hines, Jr., and Shawn Hines; two daughters Rebecca Hines and Holly (Jim) Green, and six grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers Bud Mettert and William (Marilyn) Mettert; sisters Lucille (Wayne) Spratt and Edith (Larry) Martin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jack, James and Paul Mettert, and one sister Nellie Kaiser.

Calling hours will take place from 4 p.m.- 7.p.m. On Wednesday, January, 17, 2018 at FairHaven Funeral Home 6557 N. Clinton St. Fort Wayne, IN 46825. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday January 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with calling one hour prior at FairHaven Home. Burial will take place in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett Indiana.
