Russell George Glaser, 71, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 surrounded by his wife Kathaleen, daughter, Heather, and granddaughter Erica. Born in South Bend, Indiana, Russell was a son of the late Russell J. and Betty M. Glaser. Russell graduated from Snider High School. He served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War earning several medals. He worked for International Harvester, was a truck driver, and retired from BF Goodrich after many years of service. Russell enjoyed being at the lake, cruising in the pontoon, fishing, being a drag racer, and riding his Harley. He loved spending time with his family. Russell will forever be known for being a "Bad Ass" along with his funny and witty personality. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Kathaleen Glaser; daughter, Heather (Joe) Ulle; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Ida Glaser; 3 nephews and 1 niece. Russell was preceded in death by his sister, Sondra DeJarnett. Service is 6 pm, Thursday, April 28, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 3 pm until the service. Memorials may be made to Cancer Research Foundation.
