Russel “Russ” A. Woodward, 54, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. He was born to the late Ed and Sherry (Robinson) Woodward Jr. on September 20, 1971 in Fort Wayne. Russ was a member of First Eel River Baptist Church. He graduated from Carroll High School in 1990. Russ loved his job and was Lead Service Tech at JF Petroleum Group. He loved to be outdoors, camping and was an avid 49’ers fan. Russ was a really good husband, dad, and grandpa and loved them dearly.

Russ is survived by his loving wife, Kisha Woodward; children, Russel Jr., Matt (Taryn), Kaleigh, Brooklyn, and Gabriel Woodward; eight grandchildren; brother, Ed (Flo) Woodward of Huntertown; sister, Lori Woodward and Lisa Rodenberg both of Fort Wayne; beloved dog, Mishka; and many co-workers and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Muncie.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 11:00 am at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the funeral home from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
