Ronald Leroy "Ron" Farlow, 74, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Born on July 11, 1952, in Fort Wayne, Ron was the son of the late Loren Vernon and Anna (Zimmer) Farlow. He graduated from North Side High School. During his working years, Ron was employed by Eagle-Picher in Grabill for many years before retiring.

Ron and his beloved wife, Sandy, were fortunate to travel not only throughout the United States but also around the world together, creating countless cherished memories. Although he enjoyed traveling, Ron was truly a homebody at heart. He found happiness in the simple things—sitting in his favorite chair, listening to music, watching television, spending time on his iPad, and looking out the window watching the days go by. He also enjoyed trivia, a good-natured debate, and doing his best to fix anything that needed repairing. Ron was known for his happy-go-lucky attitude and easygoing spirit, which remained with him throughout his life.

Ron is survived by his son, Jason (Hope) Farlow; his grandchildren, Patti, Jacob, and Elizabeth; several great-grandchildren; and his sister-in-law, Michelle Farlow.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52½ years, Sandra "Sandy" Farlow, and by his brother, Richard Farlow.
