Roger Lane Silvers, age 73, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away peacefully Saturday, January 25, 2025 at his home .  He was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Oat and Edna Silvers and was a graduate of South Side High School.  Roger worked the front counter at Central Supplies and valued the relationships he made throughout the years.  Growing up he attended Zion Lutheran Church, and loved playing music with his local band.  He enjoyed car body work, and loved racing, especially at Baer Field Speedway.  Most of all, Roger will be remember for the love he showed his wife, and family.  He had a kindness and respect for all his friends and neighbors.  Roger is survived by his wife, 54 years, Joann Silvers; children, Angela Rose, and Nick Silvers; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his two brothers, Ronald Silvers and Dean Silvers.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Scott Silvers; three brothers; and one sister.  The service is 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
