Roger Davie was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 20, 1940. He was proud of his Chicago roots. He met and married the love of his life, Dorothy, in 1969; they were married for over 50 years! They raised 4 sons and 1 daughter together. Sadly, Billy & Bobby ("the B boys") both preceded Roger in death. Their sons Mike (Sue) Davie and Dan (Jo) live in the Chicago area while Doreen (Beth) lives in Ft. Wayne, IN where Roger and Dorothy moved in retirement.

Roger was a guy who could fix anything! To prove it, he kept many an old tool and part just in case he needed it. He loved a good German beer or glass of red wine, fishing, playing cards and listening to oldies like Gordon Lightfoot, Harry Chapin and Ray Price. But mostly, Roger loved his family! His grandkids made him very proud.

Roger will be missed by many, especially his family, friends old and new (many at StoryPoint).
A memorial service for Roger will take place on Friday February 24th, 2023 at 6 pm with visitation
beginning at 3pm at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services 6557 N. Clinton St. Fort Wayne, IN. 46825.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations to Parkview Regional Hospice or Humane Fort Wayne.
