Obituary

Rodney James "Rod" Hoskins, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, Rod was a son of the late Richard Hoskins Jr. and Mary Lou Hodge. Rod joined the Army at the age of 18, and proudly served his country for 3 years. He was an electrician by trade and could fix about anything that was broken. You could often find Rod at the flea markets or at Menards as he was a frequent flyer. Rod was The Ohio State's number one fan and loved fantasy football. He and his wife Tammy would often go on their R&T Adventures. Surviving are his wife Tammy Hoskins; children, Charles (Sabrina Hall) Hoskins, Alexander (Katelyn) Hoskins, Daniel Hoskins, Jason (Ashley) Southern; grandchildren, Katelynn Hall, Elizabeth Hoskins; siblings, Chris (Ray) Payne, Bob (Barb) Hodge, Mike (Donna) Hodge, Greg Hodge, Chad (Tabitha) Hodge; along with his dog, Bailey. Rod was preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Breidenbach; and nephew, Sgt. Jeremy Hodge. Service is 11 am, Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1505 Bethany Lane, with calling one hour prior. Memorials may be made to Gethsemane Lutheran Church. FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
