Robin Sue Waikel, 63, of Fort Wayne, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Born in Marion, Indiana, Robin was a daughter of the late Robert and Carrol (Marley) Boucher. Robin married Loydd Vernon Waikel on February 14, 1979. She worked for Scotts/Kroger for 35 years. Robin was the first one out on the porch to watch a storm come in. She truly enjoyed reading, listening to music, and above all else her family. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Loydd; children, Angela (David) Spare, Jami (Mark Velasquez) Mcelhoe, Crystal Waikel, Robert (Stephanie) Waikel, A.J. Sanders; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rena (William) Purvis, Tracey Renfo; brother, Herbert (Daelin) Boucher; step-sister, Jennifer Brant; and step-brother, Mark Hale. Service is 7 pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling from 5 pm until the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Humane Fort Wayne.
