Roberta Mae Roth, age 91, passed away on August 22, 2026, in Fort Wayne. She was the 9th of 11 children born to Blanche (Grock) Fitzpatrick and Thomas Fitzpatrick in rural Macy, Indiana. She lived most of her childhood in the Deedsville community. Roberta graduated from Deedsville High School and attended Logansport Business College.

She retired from K and K Insurance, where she worked in the Participant Accident Department, and was a faithful member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.

Roberta is survived by her daughter, Pamela Hecke; stepchildren, Katherine (Art), Dorothy (Robert) Zimmerman, William (Shirley) Roth II, and David (Lori) Roth; two grandchildren, Cassandra Sorrell and Benjamin (Alyssa) Hecke; eight great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and sister, Kay Fisher.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Roth; daughter, Kimberly Sorrell; and several brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:30 am, Friday, August 28, 2026, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold St., with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. Burial will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorials may be made to Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.
