Robert Irvin Williams, 77, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Robert was the son of the late Charles and Ruth Williams. Robert graduated from Englewood High School in Jacksonville, Florida and earned several degrees while in college. Robert served our country as a proud US Air Force Vietnam War veteran. Following his military service, Robert was hired by Boeing and worked on projects for the Apollo Missions to the moon. Robert enjoyed fishing, grilling, gardening, boating, the beach, and going to fairs with his wife Shari. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Shari Williams; daughter, Sherry Hudnall; close family friend, Lisa (Rob) Kaley; sister, Sharon (John) Cannon; nephew, John E. Cannon; cousins; Robert Williams, Richard Williams; and his pet dog Rocky. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and cousin, Rex Williams. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project. FairHaven Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
