Robert W. Ward, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026. He was born to late Alvis and Alice (Brooks) Ward on December 9, 1961 in Fort Wayne. Robert worked in construction for many years. He loved cars, Harley Davidson, and bowling.

Robert is survived by his children, Robert (Jillian) Ward and Krista Ward both of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; sisters, Vickie (Jeff) Goblirsch of Fort Wayne, Debbie Fuson of Fort Wayne, and Sandra (Steven) Leaming of Dimondale, IN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael P. Ward and David Ward.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46825) with visitation two hours prior. Burial will follow the service at Covington Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
