Robert Rexford Rhodes Jr., 76, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Robert was the son of the late Robert Sr. and Ruth (Wehrenberg) Carey. Robert served with pride and honor during the Vietnam War as a U.S. Marine. He worked for International Harvester, Sears Auto Center, and was a greeter at Walmart. He had steadfast faith in the Lord and was a daily reader of the Bible and of prayer. Robert loved to be social and share his knowledge on life. He was an avid fan and watcher of WWE Wrestling. Surviving are his step-children, Denise (Brian) Jarvis of Fort Wayne, Annette Navarro of Chicago, IL, and Eddie (Melissa) Navarro of Fort Wayne; grandchildren; Marisa, Evan, Esteban, Gianni, and Ava; 2 great-grandchildren, Lorenzo and Alonzo; one sibling; and many extended family members. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne Rhodes; and step-son, Michael Lenk II. Service is 3 pm, Sunday, April 10, 2022 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
