Robert Leroy "Bob" Minnick, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Robert was the son of the late Clarence and Maxine Minnick. Robert served our country as a U.S. Army veteran. He was a maintenance technician for Jamestown Homes for 27 years prior to his retirement. Bob loved being outdoors. He was always keeping busy fixing things for himself or others. His personality allowed him to be friends with everyone. Bob was always willing to help others in need. Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Wanda Minnick; children, Jennifer (Charlie) Robinson, Jeff (Danielle) Minnick; step-daughter, Stephanie (Jim) Heroy; grandchildren, Mitchell, Madelyn, Trevor, Brittany, Dakota; sister-in-law, Brenda Minnick; along with several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Minnick. Service is 5 pm, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with calling from 1 pm until the service. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice or Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
