Robert Warren Jackson, 68, of Garrett, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2025, surrounded by his family. While our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing he lived a full, joyful life and left us with enough stories, laughter, and memories to last forever.

Born on March 11, 1957 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bob lived a life full of laughter, adventure, and devotion. He was a man who found his greatest joy in simple, meaningful moments—sitting in a deer stand at sunrise, casting a line across a quiet lake, or sharing stories with friends around a campfire. Hunting and fishing weren't just hobbies for him; they were ways he connected with the world around him and the people he cherished.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Bob leaves behind his wife, Susan; his daughter, Holly (Nick) Lengacher; his two sons, Aaron (Amanda) Jackson, and Bo (Merissa) Jackson; and his 15 beloved grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren who were his pride and joy. To his grandkids, he wasn't just "Grandpa"—he was a teacher, a storyteller, and their biggest fan.

Outside of family, Bob found joy in his hobbies. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, often rising before the sun with his cup of coffee, for a day in the woods or on the water. His favorite trophy wasn't a deer on the wall — it was time spent with family and friends.

The family invites everyone to join us for a Celebration of Life on September 21, 2025 at Celebration Hall, 1346 S. Randolph Street, Garrett IN 46738, starting at 1pm-5pm. We'll gather to share memories, swap hunting and fishing tales, and honor the man who brought so much joy to our lives and lived life to the fullest.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, honoring his legacy of love and kindness.
