Robert "Bob" Lee Gordon passed away on Friday, January 20th 2023 at the age of 94. He was born on December 12th, 1928, the youngest child of Eva (Sible) and Ben Gordon. He graduated from Huntertown High School in 1946. On February 19th, 1949, he married Joan Fox, to whom he was happily married for 65 years. Bob's favorite job was owning and operating Palace Parking Lot from the time he was 17 until he was 25. He then had a long career as a salesman, most notably as district sales manager for Cadillac Coffee for 21 years, after which he owned R. & J. Coffee Service for 23 years. Bob made a special connection with everyone he met, rewarding those with whom he did business with candy bars. He was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. He loved to play golf, fish, ice skate, and hunt mushrooms.
Bob is survived by his children; Rebecca (Don) Kline, Joni (Mike) Koorsen, Rachelle (Eddie) Bannister, and Robert II (Sandy) Gordon; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; parents, Eva (Gordon) Huber and Ben Gordon; brother, Harold (Jeannette); and sister, Phyllis (Gerald) Hawk.
Memorial service will take place at Wesley Chapel UMC, 13733 Wesley Chapel Rd. on Thursday January 26th at 2 pm with calling 1 hour prior beginning at 1pm.
