Obituary
Robert W. Coons Jr., aged 53, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Madison, IA, he was the son of the late Robert Coons Sr. and Bobbie Wardlow.
Rob was a plumber, a volunteer firefighter, and, more recently, a truck driver. He was passionate about motorcycles and loved his biker community.
He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Christie Coons; children, Kelsey (Chris) Birdsong, Lanae (Chris) Elias, Duston (Gabi) Butler, and Tyler Coons; six grandchildren, Danyl, Allysen, Hayzel, Grace, Fenix, and Colsen; and siblings, James Sage, Chris Coons, and Amanda Yates.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Donations can be made in his memory to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana. Arrangements are under the care of Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
