Robert "Bob" J. Cole, age 87, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 3, 2024.

Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Eileen (Carpenter) Cole, daughter, Deb (Warren) Beal, Findlay, OH; granddaughter Jamie Cole; a great-granddaughter; as well as four step-daughters: Tammy Schillace, Terri (Bill) McEvoy, Molly (Mike) Miller, of Fort Wayne, IN, and Tina (Gary) Lewis, of Montgomery, TX; step-sons Kevin Konger and Brian Konger of Fort Wayne; and 12 step-grandchildren, and 11 step-great-grandchildren who brought him much joy.

He was preceded in death by a son, Scott Cole of Punta Gorda, FL; his parents Art and Muriel Cole of Findlay, OH; and step-daughter-in-law, Melody Konger of Fort Wayne.

Bob will be remembered along with sadness at his passing, for his sincere love of his family, who will miss him dearly, a smile by all who knew him whose lives were brightened by his sometimes – irreverent sense of humor, and warmed by his zest for enjoying as many cocktail happy hours as life could bring! He loved making life – long memories at every family gathering - moments made even more meaningful after Bob and Eileen's retirement, when he became the beloved "Pawpaw" to his growing list of grandchildren.

Per Bob's wishes, there will be no viewing. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to FairHaven Funeral Home in Fort Wayne.
