Robert "Bob" P. Barney Jr., 71, died on Thursday, December 11, 2025. He was born on 10/14/1954, in Berea, Ohio, to Evelyn E. and Robert P. Barney Sr.

He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Deb; and sons, Rob (Alyssa), Andrew, and Michael (Natalie). Bob also leaves behind four grandchildren whom he loved very much; Evalie, Bennett, Mia, and Lennon; his sister, Brenda Barney Hernandez; and his nephew, Evan Hernandez.

Bob worked 55 years in the automotive field. He was very passionate about Lionel trains, Pontiacs and Corvettes, and enjoyed attending automotive events. Bob enjoyed traveling to Florida and eating at his favorite restaurants. Above all, he loved spending time with his beloved family.

Private family services are being held at Fairhaven Funeral Home and a public Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through Fairhaven Funeral Home for the grandchildren educational fund.
