Rita Marie (Pelletier) St. Clair of Angola, IN, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 19, 1951, in Queens, New York, to the late Aldrick and Rita Pelletier. Marie worked at the Angola Coin Laundry for many years and had a great love for her family, garage sales, and bingo.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce St. Clair Sr.; her children, Bruce (Mariah) St. Clair Jr. of Angola, IN, Karen (Brian) of Birdseye, IN, and Patty Frazee of Angola, IN; her sisters, Mary Scott of Angola, IN, and Cindy Stump of West Virginia; and her brothers, Rick (Kelly) Pelletier of Angola, Richard Pelletier of Angola, and Roger Pelletier of Fort Wayne.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Damien, Kendall, Jayce, and Zoey St. Clair, Kayla Cummings, Brent Stiverson, Sebastian (Chaz) Callahan, Blaine Parrish, and Chris (Liz) Stiverson; her great-grandchildren, Wayne Cummings, Bradley O'Quinn, Logan Athy, Mason and Carter Callahan, Vaida Stiverson, Ellanor Smith, and Cooper and Jolene Stiverson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Linda Marie St. Clair and Joannie Mae Callahan.
A celebration of life will be held at her home on Saturday, March 8, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at 425 South Shoup St., Lot 8, Angola, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her family via Bruce St. Clair Jr. or Karen Roach.
