Rita Kay Kellogg, 58, passed away July 27, 2026, in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Roger and Delilah Kellogg. Rita was raised by her grandmother Dorothy Witmer Templin.

She worked all of her life as a caregiver for others with the last many years at Visiting Angles. She had a very compassionate heart. For hobbies, she enjoyed genealogy, thrifting, and writing Christian fiction. She loved the Lord with all her heart and soul.

Rita is survived by her closest relatives Jim and Susan Witmer; and other cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and sister, Diana Kellogg.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 3 pm, located at Living Faith Church (10717 Roberts Road, Harlan, IN 46743). A burial will take place at a later date at Leo Cemetery in Leo, Indiana.
