Ricky Brown, 66, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at his home. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Ray and Ruby Brown. Rick worked at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering & Professional Chemical before opening his own company. He owned ChemTech Services, LLC in 2005. Rick loved working at his company every day since he started his business. His passion was his cars and small motors and belonged to many groups related to his bobbies during his life. Rick also loved his Lionel trains. He had an extensive collection of trains that he brought out once a year, at Christmas. He created an amazing Christmas train layout with four running trains, a village with a dozen buildings, a skating rink, lots of people, cares and a mountain. He loved taking his children and grandchildren on adventures. Camping, Car Shows, Carnivals, Water Parks, Amusement Parks, whatever sounded exciting he was ready to go. Rick also loved to pass his hobbies on to his grandchildren, teaching them how to ride and work on their own mini-bikes, care for cars and prepare for car shows. Rick loved his life, his family, his business, and his cars. He is survived he wife, Nancy Brown; children, D'Arcy (Shawna) Roberts, Kathryn (Jesus) Gill, Adam (Shaunnette) Mildred; grandchildren, Angelo, Antonello, Cruz, Logan, Victoria, and Hannah. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, extended family members, Wilbur and Assunta Brown. Service is 1 pm, Friday, April 1, 2022 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1636 St. Mary's Avenue, with calling from 11 am until the service. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Rick's grandchildren's Education Fund c/o Nancy Brown.
