Richard C. Sproull, 65, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Freeport, TX, Richard was the son of the late Earlwood and Wanda Sproull. He dedicated over a decade of service to the City of Temple, Texas, working in maintenance, and previously served as a store manager for KB Toy Stores in Bakersfield, CA.

Richard had a deep love for music, and was known for his spirited karaoke performances especially Elvis songs and frequent concert outings.  A natural entertainer, he brought laughter wherever he went and was cherished for his quick wit and sense of humor. Above all, Richard loved time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anita Sproull; children Lisa Abshire, Shaun Abshire, and Justin Blankenship; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings Randall Sproull, Vicki Webber, and Tammey (Daniel) Young.
