Richard Martin Hodupp, 72, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born in Marion, Indiana, Richard was a son of the late James Hodupp and Doris Hodupp who survives. He graduated from Madison Grant High School, earned his bachelors degree in agriculture from Purdue University and his masters degree in horticulture from Michigan State University. He worked as a environmental consultant until he retired in 2008. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, and raising his animals. Surviving are his mother, Doris Hodupp; his daughter, Rachel (Justin) Eckert; grandchildren, Gavin Sherk, Julia Eckert; great-grandchild, Parker Jo-Marie Fisher; siblings, Mike Hodupp, Gary (Annie) Hodupp, Rob (Kristy) Hodupp, John Hodupp and many nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his father, James Hodupp; his wife, Judith Hodupp; and grandson, Steven B. Fisher.
