Richard "Dick" A. Foust, 79, of Fort Wayne, Ind. passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. Dick was born in Hammond, Ind. to the late Charles Sr. and Elda Foust. He graduated from Fort Wayne Bible College class of 1969. He began his career in ministry serving in Youth for Christ. He then served in Zionsville, Calvary Temple, and Till Road Christian Center where he retired in 2012. Those who knew Pastor Dick knew he never truly retired as he continued his ministry in many areas and never stopped serving the Lord.
Dick had a heart for the broken and had the ability to reach those who were struggling and lead them to follow God as well.
Dick loved to garden, to play Scrabble on his phone with others, to sing, and to listen to Southern Gospel music. He was a kind and gentle man who was patient and humble.
Dick is survived by the love of his life, Diana. They were married for 33 years. Additional surviving family members include his niece, Cheryl (Mark) Luark; nephews, Michael (Kristie) Foust, and Mark (Jenny) Foust; and many great nieces and nephews.
Dick was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Jr.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday October 2nd, at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am located in the Christian Community Center of Harlan, Ekklesia Church, (the previous Harlan Elementary School), 12616 Spencerville Road #216, Harlan, Indiana 46743. Preferred memorials may be directed to Parkview Hospice.
