Richard George Bowman III, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was born to the late Richard G. and Ruth Marie (Stuckey) Bowman II on February 18, 1948 in Fort Wayne. Richard proudly served in the US Army Reserves, retiring after 20 years as a Captain. He graduated from North Side High School in 1965. Richard retired as a Mortgage Loan Officer. Richard (Dick) loved his life living on Jimmerson Lake during the summers as well as Ft Myers, FL during the winter with his many friends. His favorite way to greet and say bye to anyone, was fist bumping. He would spend hours each day at the Sandbar on Lake James.

Richard is survived by his children, Angela Kintz and Rich Bowman IV; grandchildren, Camren, Collin & Chloe Kintz; siblings, Janeen (Rex) Bercot, Gary Bowman; nephews Adam Bowman & Matthew Bercot.

Upon Richard's wishes, there will be no services.
