Rhonda Elizabeth Irven, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana Rhonda was the daughter of the late Robert and Esther (Boddy) Griffiths. She graduated from South Side High School. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandma to her family. Besides taking care of her family, Rhonda was a secretary at Washington Center Elementary during her working years. She was a member of Emmanual Lutheran Church. Rhonda loved water. She enjoyed spending nice days by the pool and taking vacations to the beach. Rhonda and her husband Curtis loved to travel and spent many years in Fort Myers, Florida at their resort spot. She also enjoyed going out to eat and socializing with her friends. Surviving are her children, Sherry (Jeremy) Ryan, Julie (Jeff) Harper, Jim (Jessica) Irven; grandchildren, Austin Ryan, Logan Ryan, Brianna Irven, Isaiah Irven and Lydia Irven. Rhonda was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Curtis Irven; son, Marc Irven; grandson, Jacob Irven; and brother, Robert "Bob" Griffiths. Service is 11 am, Friday, January 5, 2024 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson, with calling from 9 am until the services. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
