Rex R. Roy, age 79, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at home with family. Rex was a proud Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War. Rex worked at Zollner Pistons for 33 years and retired in 2002. He was known for his playful personality, and he never met a stranger. He will be missed tremendously.

Rex is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rita; children, Robert Roy, and Jennifer (Chris) Cole; five grandchildren, Deacon (Ellie) Cole, Andrew (Kelsey) Roy, Ethan Cole, Olivia (Layne) Mayhew, and River Cole; four great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Alexander, Avery, and Oliver; siblings, Sharon Dills, Cindy Roy, and Cliff King; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Roy and Bessie King; brother, Gary Roy; and two infant daughters.
