Renee Joan Celie, age 68, passed away on September 13, 2026, in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne to the late Robert Brockhaus and Jan Renn.

Renee retired from GTE and Frontier after a long career in accounts receivable. She will be remembered for her willingness to help others and for a smile that could light up a room. She loved traveling and found joy in sharing that love with her friends and family, often helping them plan their own adventures.

Renee cherished time spent with her dog, Jax, and most of all treasured every moment with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, David (Rosie) Brockhaus; stepdaughters, Heather (Marty) Davis; two grandsons, Dylan Brockhaus and Dominic Brockhaus; step-granddaughter, Sydney (Dylan) Aker; great-step-grandchildren, Mason, Rowan, and Adaline; two brothers, Don Brockhaus and Dan (Connie) Brockhaus; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Renee was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Celie.

The memorial service is at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St., with calling two hours prior beginning at 4:00 pm.
