Obituary
Rebecca Lynda June Rickman, 72, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was born to the late Robert Arthur and Evelyn June (Lord) Volkert in Newburyport, MA on April 13, 1951. She was a homemaker, loved cats, avid collector, and loved doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren. She also taught her grandchildren life guidance and values which they cherish.
Rebecca is survived by daughters, Christina Perez, Carolyn Hay, and Mary Fox; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Bob, and sister, Cheryl. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Rickman; father of her children, Dale Verhest; and sister, Susan Arthur.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm at The Crossing Community Church (909 Main Street, New Haven, IN 46774).
Memorial contributions may be made to The Crossing Community Church.
