Rebecca Jean Mankowski, age 80, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Kendallville, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Henry and Hilda Lesher. Rebecca worked as a CNA for many years and had a great love for her people. She loved gardening, flowers, animals and most of all her family, who will remember her for being a wonderful cook. She is survived by her companion of 32 years, Greggory Martin; Rebecca's children, Debbie Bloom, Cindy Badman, and Danny Logsdon; grandson, Dustin (Julie) Hirsch; two great-grandchildren, Gabe and Hayley; and her brother, David Lesher. Rebecca was also preceded in death by brother, James Lesher. A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
