Raymond F. Daniels III, 51, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday June 10th, 2025 at his home. Ray was born in Wabash, IN to Raymond F. (Sylvia) Daniels II. He graduated with a bachelor degree from Indiana Tech where he met his wife, Sara. He belonged to the Sig Ep house where he served as vice president. Ray worked in mortgage lending for 15 years before transitioning into roles as a controller and accountant. He enjoyed fishing, sitting around backyard fires, going to TinCaps and Komets games, and playing poker. Ray even played in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. He was at home around the water, whether the ocean or the lake. Ray liked to read and had been reading and studying his Bible regularly. He was a member of Central Ministries.
Ray is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sara Daniels; daughters, Kiara (Tyler) Rosswurm, and Elizabeth Daniels; his parents; brother, Steven (Monika) Daniels; grandmother, Esther Mindt; and niece and nephews.
Funeral services for Ray will be on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation, 6557 N. Clinton St. Visitation will also take place on Monday June 16, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm also at the funeral home. Burial will in Concordia Cemetery Gardens on Lake Avenue. Preferred memorials may be directed to Central Ministries for youth programs.
