Quentin Avery Hoskins, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1996 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Shanon Frantz and Brian Hoskins. Quentin Hoskins served in the Army under Sergeant Sheets. Growing up Quentin always loved anything that had to do with the Army. He told us he was going to be a soldier when he got older and he did! Quentin was so proud as we all were. He impacted so many lives during his brief time here on earth with his gentle and warm spirit. He enjoyed making people laugh and being silly. Quentin's presence always lit up the room. He loved his family, friends, and most of all, his children. He loved history and was always fascinated with nature. He loved the lake, He was an avid fisherman and devoted father. He is proceeded in death by his father, Brian Hoskins and his son Kai Hoskins. He is survived by his daughter, Ophelia Hoskins; Megan Ford; his mother Shanon (Brandon Kimmel) Frantz; his sisters; Destiny Anspach, Miranda Hoskins, Shaylee Kimmel; and his brother Brayvin Kimmel; maternal grandparents, Sherry Tarquinio and Edward Frantz; paternal grandparents, Annette Hoskins and Rick Hoskins; along with his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services with military honors, for Quentin will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2025 at 7 pm with visitation beginning at 3pm, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton St. Preferred memorials may be directed to the family in C/O Shanon Frantz, Grandmother of Ophelia, for Ophelia's education fund.
