Phyllis Ann Urbine, 85, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Evelyn Fisher. Phyllis graduated from New Haven High School. During her working years Phyllis worked for Sears and Dr. Hagedorn and Dr. Gabrek's office. She enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her flowers, and volunteering at the church. Phyllis also enjoyed crafts, shopping, and dining out with her family and friends. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are her daughter, Victoria "Vikki" (David) Birdwell; granddaughter, Jessica Harman; great-granddaughters Carolina Rae and Elena Jade; and siblings, Barbara (Donald) Lehner and Larry (Peggy) Fisher. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Urbine; son Robert Rommel: stepson Kent Urbine; and siblings, Dorothy "Dixie" Lee and Russell Fisher. Service is 11 am, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N. Clinton Street, with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
