Obituary

Phillip Wisniewski, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday January 21st. Phil graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1965. After graduation he went to work at International Harvester, where he retired from after a 33 year career. Phil served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was an active member of the Fort Wayne Sport Club where he will be dearly missed. He enjoyed fishing at Coldwater Lake with his buddies, car shows, and spending time with his grandkids.
Phil is survived by his loving wife, Frankie; sons, Jason (Laurie) Wisniewski, and Clint ( Sarah) Wisniewski; daughter, Jessica (Mike) Wyss; stepdaughters, Niki (Jon) Mattingly, and Nora (Ed) Miers; grandchildren, Tim, Harrison, Phillip, Carson, Zoe, Patrick, Bradley, Kate, Jill, Paul, Charity, Jonathon, Emma, Ryker, Ella, and Olivia; brother, Tom (Linda) Wisniewski; sister, Theresa Smith. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Kay; brothers Tony and Gene; parents Anthony and Genevieve.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday January 29th from 4-7 pm at the Fort Wayne Sport Club (3102 Ardmore Ave) with military honors at 5:30 pm. Family and friends attending are encouraged to wear a mask or face covering. Preferred memorials in Phil's honor may be directed to the Fort Wayne Sport Club. Arrangements entrusted to FairHaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
