Phillip A. Walton Jr., 73, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on May 24, 2025 . Born on August 28, 1951 , in Waxahachie, Texas, Phillip was a beloved father, mentor and friend.  Phillip was a 1969 graduate of Waxahachie High School then went on to the serve his country in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his daughter, Sunni Brooke Walton of Plano, Texas,  his son, Jason Wayne Wooldridge and his wife, Tina of Waxahachie, Texas.  As well as many nieces and nephews.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip A. Walton Sr. and Bessie Viola Chipman Walton.  His siblings, Rebecca Walton Todd, Patty Walton Fontanez, Donna Walton Kocher, and John "Butch" Walton and the Mother of his children, Teresa Thompson Walton.

Phillip's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his career in the steel industry. He will be remembered for his kindness, and the lasting impact he had on those around him.

A memorial service is 6:00 pm, Monday, June 2, 2025 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 6557 N.
